Two New metrology systems for AMC

One of our key customers – Australian Metrology and Calibration (AMC) in Adelaide, recently installed two new systems supplied by Met Optix – a Taylor Hobson Talyrond TR130/131 Roundness Measuring System and a Gauge Calibration and Length Measuring System from Microrep in Italy.

This was to equip their growing capabilities and prepare their business for future opportunities in the defence sector in South Australia. We wanted to replace some of our older equipment with the latest technologies in terms of roundness measurement and gauge calibration, and Met Optix had the right products and skilled personnel to help us with our upgrade journey.

Talyrond 131c System

The roundness measurement system at AMC is the Taylor Hobson Talyrond TR131c which has full roundness and concentricity measurement capabilities down to
