About Metronor DUO
The Metronor DUO system is a CCD-based dual-camera measurement system with a light pen for probing. It is ideal for measuring large and rough objects, such as castings, up to 9 cubic metres in size.
- Range: distance from sensors 1.5 – 15 metres
- Volumetric accuracy +/- (0.020 + L/70000) mm
Metronor DUO Probe provides high-end coordinate measuring capability anywhere in the production process:
- Use the handheld probe to provide CMM capability – measure features such as holes, slots and edges as well as surfaces.
- Perform a GD&T analysis – or compare to CAD in real-time.
- Compare tools, parts and assemblies to CAD
- Efficiently align objects in position and orientation (6 DOF), for example in tool building or jig-less assembly.
